WARM-UP videos
These four drills reinforce the basic mechanics to proper pitching.
When learning pitching, a young pitcher should do these in higher numbers than an experience pitcher.
My pitchers did these warm-ups before every practice and every game.
Usually about 20 of each before a practice and about 10 of each before a game.
Less before a game, to give more time for full pitching practice.
I believe speed is a combination of body, arm and wrist snap. You must develop all three.
 
 
These are some of the advanced techniques that helped Kelly transform a fastball in the mid-60s to the upper 60s.
